Account Management
Go to alarm.com/login or download the Alarm.com app (iOS/Android). Use the credentials we sent to your email during activation. If you forgot your password, use the “Forgot Password” link.
Log into your Alarm.com account, go to Users > Manage Users > Add User. You can set permissions for each user (full access, limited access, or notification-only). Some plans support multiple user licenses.
Visit our Switch to Alertor page. You’ll need to cancel your current provider first (make sure there’s no remaining contract), then activate with Alertor. The process takes about 15 minutes.
Technical & Troubleshooting
A beeping panel usually means a low battery, communication issue, or zone fault. Try these steps: 1) Enter your master code + OFF to silence. 2) Check if a door/window sensor is open. 3) If the battery warning persists, replace the backup battery. Call us at 743-ALERTOR if the beeping continues.
This means your panel lost connection to the central station. Check your internet connection, make sure your router is working, and verify the panel’s cellular or broadband communicator is plugged in. If using cellular, ensure there’s signal in your area. Call us at 743-ALERTOR for remote diagnosis.
Call us at 743-ALERTOR before testing so we can put your account in test mode (prevents dispatch). Then arm your system and trigger a sensor. We’ll confirm we received the signal. Always call us when done so we can take your system out of test mode.
Yes! Our Watch ($24.99/mo) and Watch Plus ($28.99/mo) plans include 4 cameras with 3,000 clips. You can also add cameras as an add-on to any plan. We support Alarm.com indoor, outdoor, doorbell, and floodlight AI cameras. See camera options.
